Hi Ianto,
Was talking to a farmer/haulier from your area,he runs a six wheeler M A N on hay and straw, also steel into Hereford.
He very often runs with another chap from your way,who runs a FL6 low six wheeler ex brewery type lorry.
Cheers Dave.
hi Dave seen the 2 waggons often i think that they come from the lampeter area
Yes he did say he was from near Lampeter Ianto. They very often stop at the snack van at Letton for some grub,he was loaded with RSJ’s for Hereford when I spoke to him.
Cheers Dave.
A nice line up of more British classics.
ERF and a Scania Vabis, little did we know how big they were going to become in the UK.

I think we always knew the ERF was going to be the big one…

Strange how the tables were turned John, when you think back to the late 60’s when that Scania Vabis was registered.
The Volvo F86 was a quite common sight here, but not the Scania’s.Entress already had quite a few F86’s in those days.
Cheers Dave.
The row on the way out of Gaydon.
A fine British michelotti styled lorry in the line up.
Don’t think they made them as late as the B reg,but a nice example of a much discussed lorry on this forum.
A nice set of bars on this Scania.
Only Maggie Deutz I saw at Gaydon.
Another famous name in haulage earlier motors.
Always interesting to see how lorry sizes have grown over the years,as the weights increased.
Three more near to the entrance.
This Austin was coming into the show area as we were heading back to the car park.

I’ve stuck a pic of Rich’s truck on the Guy thread – slightly better weather although I have rarely been near this lorry without there being rain around!

Getting them ready for home in the park at Gaydon.
A few more loaded for home.
