It’s not a very long hill Harry,it has a bit of a twist at the bottom into a 50mph speed limit,not much chance to get much speed up.It’ only a small hill,never pulled you down even with the lower powered motors when I was driving.

A nice looking M A N,seen at Lyde on the A49 near Hereford.
Hi Dave,good shot of DK08HHW mate,this one works on the Gelpack contract at Hereford,theres 4 lorries based there and they come home to Bristol for servicing and dumping the odd pallet off.Its real heavy stuff to pull about and I struggled a bit when I went over to collect a load…you got some lovely hills round your way Dave!!

Thanks for the kind comments.Is that the firm you drive for.As you say plenty of hills this way.The Herefordshire hills are quite gentle in comparison to the Mid Wales hills,which you don’t have as much time when travelling to get a good photo,as the lorries are on you quicker.

A couple going around the doughnut on the A49 by Cadbury’s at Marlbrook,near Leominster.The lead lorry is one of Lloyds of Ludlow.

We are thirty miles further north of Brecon pimmer.Will keep an eye out for your lorries.We do get down into South and West Wales,so may have seen your vehicles around.
