Welsh Border and Mid Wales Hauliers 1950's onwards

hiya,
Well Dave, looking to hire a Transit to get me and the “ducks breakfast” down to Chester Le Street riverside, i’ts only a short stroll but i’ve bought so much bread i can’t lift the sack, but this being a “tipper thread” i thought someone might feel sorry for an “old gadgie” and roll up in a tipper and get and me to a place of peace and quiet for a couple of hours, no offers so i’ll just struggle away with my load on my back, see you when tele returns to proper viewing, bit cool today so will have to wrap up warm bet i’m the only one there, bliss.ta ta .
thanks harry long retired.

hiya,
Had to beat a hasty retreat Dave, It started to rain gave the ducks their brekkie in quick time they’ve all sunk too much food in a hurry. had left the house when you posted the offer of transport so walked down but got a taxi back a bit like a drowned rat but i did get a little spell of respite although might finish up with pneumonia tomorrow probably earned it for being a miserable old git, the wifes words not mine, ah well.

More like a load of bull-ox! I was at the inlaws during the pantomime; I remarked “that was quick” after the “man and wife” stuff, didn’t realise there was going to be a load of hypocrisy from a man in a dress afterwards (I thought Dame Edna wasn’t invited  )
The reason we got married in a hotel last May; I’m not into all that bread and fishes crap
For posting this, will I get hanged for treason, or burned for heresy?
