hiya,
Don’t want it back Dennis they need polishing and you being a haulier should be thinking more in line of the additional weight you could get a bit more load on if that was’nt there.

There’s an OD from Witney with a W reg Seddon Atkinson with the same setup as this one Dave. He was laid off when his employer went bust and I believe bought the lorry as part of redundancy. Due to the new tediously tight housing developments cropping up around here, he keeps busy on bag and muck collections from these places and does a bit for us now and again.
Hi Dave just got back from day trip to Aberystwyth ,good progress on the Newbridge bypass shame about the traffic lights regards kk

Hi Nathan,
I would imagine there is a niche market for a four wheeler tipper with a clamshell bucket.I remember a O/D from up this way phoning me When I worked for KTH to ask if they had got a tipper with a clam bucket on,as his son’s lorry had broken down and they were desperate to get a clam tipper to get the tarmac off.KTH had only a grab lorry,so I gave him the name of a firm in Hereford.
Cheers Dave.

Hi KK,
You picked a cracking day to go to Aberystwyth. The lights are a bit of a pain, but unavoidable on a road scheme like that.
Cheers Dave.
I’ve pushed Smiths to get a 6 and an 8 because of the amount of customers I’ve delivered to where their plant is so small it’s not practical to load us, and they ask “when are Smiths getting a grab wagon?” We must lose god knows how much work if the number of grab tippers using our tip is anything to go by. From what I gather, they find the low payload a hassle ie 6wheelers carry about 12ton and the 8s around 15-16.
