Hi dave.good breakfast in that cafe there

Hi Tony,
I used to call at that cafe back in the 80’s and 90’s,a Sottish chap and his wife ran it,it was good then, haven’t been in there for years, nor the Lazy Trout for a couple of years, not that keen since Mick and Jean sold it.
Cheers Dave.

the couple up the road from me run it now,ive never even been in the cafe in your pic,but i have heard its a good breakfast in there, both a bit close to home for me,
was you out around lentwardine last week? i saw a sprinter van but it had no name plate in it,silver but a female passenger in the van aswell

That was me Tony, with Tracy in the passenger seat, same day as we took the pics, also went another day to Doug Griffiths for some rations  .
Cheers Dave.

i didnt flash because i thought you had a nameplate,i’ll keep my eyes peeled next time,i’m up that road everday between 1 and 2.30,one way or the other,

Nameplate is on the red transit Tony, what were you driving

ive got a red y reg ford fiesta.19 miles each way to work,i get 60mpg out of it,not bad for a terrible road, but i do go steady, probably hold you up if you get behind me,must be my halfords training i had drummed in to me lol

Don’t think you would hold me up Tony.I only go slow,as it saves the fuel.Thats good mpg which you need running your own vehicle back and forth to work.Tracy has a T reg Fiesta which is immaculate and economical, wouldn’t be quite as good on fuel as your’s it’s 1.4 petrol. Will keep my eye’s open for you when I’m up that way, although it’s usually at a different time to when you are commuting.
Cheers Dave.

Appropriately for all the water around, I was standing next to an RNLI Lifeboat tractor on a trailer!

A couple more from M A Evans yard, these vehicles belong to another company that rent some of their premises.

Les Sutton drives this lorry for M A Evans, and has been with them for 40 years.

Second showing of this one, driven by Chris Tranter.

One of M A Evans drivers hauled this lifeboat tractor back from Ireland, arriving in Knighton at 4am today.

This tractor was fetched back for the firm that manufactures them in the adjoining premises.

Any idea what is to become of it? Apparently it “fell” into the sea!

atkidave is the man who would know more about it than me Steve.I think he works for the engineering company that makes/assembles them, next door to where we saw it.
Cheers Dave.
