hiya,
Just wondering who that could be, and have driven a TK and pulled a tri-axle trailer
behind it belonging to Northern Ireland Trailers got to admit the Bedford was a bit
sick on those occasions, but not as sick as me back in the late 60s.
thanks harry, long retired.

I drove a few Bedford TK’s Harry.Good little lorry for what they were designed for,but most of the one’s I drove ran at 14 ton gross which doesn’t sound much nowadays, but it was more than enough for a TK. I have to say I preferred a bigger stronger lorry with more power and better road holding.
Cheers Dave.

These had some nice Scania’s at the show.

Some more Scania’s from Shropshire.

A well known local haulier’s motors.

Another angle of the timber Scania’s.

Not sure which one TNUK’s Phantom309’s Dad drives for Bridgenorth potato haulier Marsh.

I would guess that the Daf is Phantom’s Dad’s motor ?

Another neat row of vehicles.

Moving along the row of units.

Some more from Oswestry last Saturday.

Red always looks good when its good paintwork.

Dave, your photo does not do justice to Matthews Iveco, when you saw her you probably realised what a labour of love she actually is. Even the crane gleams. Its the only Iveco Ive ever seen that I would give a second glance to!! And occasionally comes to our farm with roofing materials, (but only when John has checked that we have cut the hedges back, otherwise we have to go to Bilston to collect!!! Thanks for your photos, made me realise that most of the operators I ever new in Shropshire are either dead, or have given up the struggle! I must be getting old! Cheerio for now.

Hi Saviem,
We weren’t able to do justice to a lot of the vehicles at Oswestry due to the damp weather. It was a shame for the drivers and owners who as you know spend a lot of time and effort getting their motors looking nice.
Cheer Dave.

T Alun Jones run a smart fleet from just across the border at Welshpool.

A couple more from the Scania stable.
