If I’m not mistaken Rob Pardoe was running an Atkinson Borderer until a few years ago,then he had a Scania 113,now this Daf,seen at Hereford.

I think he ran the Atki (RBO 716M) until about 2002/3. We made him a sleeper pod for it around 1997 - until then he was kipping across the seats. He used to go some fair distance in that motor too.
I remember Bob turning up at Botany Bay with the topline 113 he had (ex Swains), with the Borderer on the back. Always seemed a nice bloke to talk to, Bob.

I didn’t see him to speak to at Hereford,last time I was talking to him 2 or 3 years ago,he still had the Atki,but was using the Scania 113.Will catch up with him again sometime and find out if he still has it.

I expect it was Trevor Davies who had the Scania’s at Llanwrda. Andrew put a couple of pics of their trucks on the South Wales thread the other week.We used to see them up this way fetch timber to a local tanalising plant.
