To call other drivers who would extend that hand of friendship to fellow drivers, low lifes is more a measure of, and more pertinent to the person saying it, than the drivers from countries other than the UK.

Well it seems the PC ■■■■ is really at work on this board , other than me and grumpy you all think it’s fine to do what he’s done ( take the zb ■■■■ ) or in reality your ■■■■ scared to say any different in case your called a racist , if that was me parked / doing what he’s doing in my stobart truck you’d be dishing out every kind of abuse you could think of and some more

Its what i like about euro driving, theres far more cameraderie between drivers, passing food and drink around (even if it is sometimes trying stewed up cabbage and veg

Registering trucks in Europe/EE to take advantage of RFL and cheaper insurance, cabotage and a low wage with tax free ‘allowances’ is the way UK haulage companies could compete but apart from some IRL no one will. Sitting back moaning and whinging re ‘foreigners’ taking the jobs/work seems preferential…I remember about 15 to 18 or so years ago when many Brit firms ‘flagged out’ and ran on Dutch plates.
I also remember later on when many Brit drivers worked on Dutch motors for Dutch companies.
Who knows,… there was maybe a Dutch forum called ‘Vrachtwagennet’ where bigoted members gave Brits grief for ‘‘Coming over here, taking our jobs’’ and all the rest of the anti EE driver ■■■■■■■■ that you get on this forum by the same few.

oh god,oh god,oh god.
i had almost finally forgotten about fray bentos snake and kiddly pies.
along with the tin of rice pudding and jam,your aforementioned campbells soup,and not forgetting the totally minging full breakfast in a tin.
tins of chopped pam and hork,and spam in a tin…
how it impressed the taliban when you whipped out these delicacies to brighten up the mostly pleasant and mysterious camion stews from time to time.
after i couldnt stomache the thought of a fray bentos,then a guy was desperate to get some stuff from me that i had nicked,and he had on 20 slabs of pies.
i hadnt the heart to refuse to swap,but couldnt find anyone to give them to so they ended up holding up the middle legs of my bed at home for about 5 years before they ended up where they belonged in the 1st place.the bin. 
Dozy…thats not the point us sensible drivers are making, we are merely poiting out the fact someone called this east european driver a low Life and he does the same job as we do.
The fact he is taking up one space, and uses two others to re-arrange his load is not a problem, as i am almost sure if asked, he would acommodate any driver wishing to park…at that time, it isnt an issue.
With regard to me getting the ball rolling, and organising something, i would need to assess who is interested via a vote of some kind, and for that i would need to get permission from T/Net i believe, as they are not a political organisation, and dont know if they would.BUT, before i did anything…i would need enough drivers participating to make anyone take notice, and i also believe it would have to be done by several people.N.E.S.W. and i dont honestly believe we would get the support…but I for one would support it.

I agree Dozy and I am glad you make that point.
My earlier post says exactly that too as well as refuting any right of a person to take or feign such offence based on the experience of a relation etc.
There is often mob rule on here and mob shouting down of some opinions which kills debate and broadening ones understanding of issues and alternative points of view which I really disagree with also.
But in this case both extremes are probably mostly just debating so far I’d say and don’t forget when you put up a comment like the one in question you have to expect some incoming and be ready to argue your point.

The guy in the pic appears to be sorting out some gear he’s probably carrying unofficially, maybe as a favour, and I would imagine he would be taking up the extra spaces for all of 30 mins.
Fair enough if he was straddling 3 spaces, or a bloody great queue was waiting to park, …but to call him low life?
Wtf is that all about, he’s temporarily using 2 extra spaces ffs.
So what next?.. lets get the Einzatsgruppen out to sort these East European low lifes (or untermenschen) out,… it used to work once over and was quite effective. 
What some seem to forget is these guys are only trying to make a crust just like all of us. Most EE’s are on a pittance of a wage and away from home for weeks on end, they dont do it for the hell of it. Tbh i dont differentiate between Brit/western Euro/EE drivers or any other for that matter. We might all have differing ways of working but all human and equal in every respect. A real shame that theres still a minority among us that seem bigoted and intolerant to others…

The whole EE thing needs to be addressed though. They work under terrible financial conditions so that the West can have even cheaper goods, Thank You Brussels.
Their social conditions are apalling and frequently causes nuisance or annoyance (to me too) when they have to spend so much time parked up but I never blame the EE drivers themselves many of whom only see their family briefly every 3 months.
It’s the EU politicians I hold responsible as well as the big western logistics companies who take complete advantage. Quiet often these EE companies are owned by western owners who just take advantage too.
This needs sorting out.

He was obviously restacking all that, as said above, probably doing a friend a favour or making some money on the side with an impromptu removals service. And there were plenty of spaces available to park at the time.

Looking for cheaper exploitable labour isn’t what Brussels is about, despite what the Murdoch press amongst others would have us believe.
If and when we leave EU will big multinationals start employing UK workers? Will we all get pay rises? Or will they look for cheap labour elsewhere? Our present Gov talks about being “competitive”. They want us to trade more with who? The USA? Australia? They want us to compete wth their existing trade partners.
We’re gonna be competing with Mexico Brazil India and China.
