The garage I used to use in England for regular maintenance and repairs was a family business, one of the sons moved to Australia to work for Scania, I asked how do trucks cope with excessive heat and apparently if a wagon leaked fuel on top of the engine they get a lot of fires this way.
To cut a long story short, he loved it there, the lifestyle, friendly people, work and life balance and all that, better pay too.
He took the wife and children and the shipping container with their personal possessions followed shortly.
The wife kicked off big time about the giant insects, spiders and snakes so they came back to England then went back again to Oz for the wife to have an affair.
Friendly people alright, a bit overfriendly.

He has booked a first class ticket on the Airbus A380 double decker A frame aircraft with Qantas and be telling the Captain how to fly it.
And how he designed and built it, as an engineer after completing or not starting a totally unrelated apprenticeship.
Maybe it’s time to close this chapter and start on the illustrious, intersuburb council career

Is it any wonder he failed as an international truck and dog driver, he was too busy designing and building iconic aeroplanes. I must admit to some surprise, thet for the lack of a few bob he failed to become an owner/driver. You’d have thought aeronautical engineers, particularly those who also had the skills to physically build the planes they designed, would have earned a decent crust.
