This scam is as old as the hills, I think everyone has seen the picture before. But it does do a good job of collecting genuine registration numbers form those daft enough to enter their real reg.
i just wanted to see how far it went. i used the truck reg i drove today (hill hire DAF XF105.410) and cant confirm where it was on the date it stated but i suspect that the chances of it being in falkirk are pretty slim as there is only 1 delivery point for it. a proper prankster would have included a program which put the inserted reg on a vehicle passing a scamera even if they did use something very common like a blue 206
