u have a very fine art there mate with some of yer pics…
P.S give me some tipps on how to catch moving trucks …as a lot i take aint good enough… need to work on the focus of a moving object methinks…keep it up mate.
wardg have u got any ?
gtilee, great pic’s,where did u take the pic of Martin Ryan’s Daf The Jewel with the Carna box behing it??
The Martin Ryan photo was taken at Corley Sevices on the M6 northbound last weekend. Taking moving shots is quiet hard, you will need a Digital SLR camera with a Telephoto lense. The best setting i find is Sports mode. I believe George is away working in Ireland.
gtilee Do you have any pictures of
Reddaways removals, Rodney Jewel transport or a black Scania topline pulling a Gregory trailer (passed it the other day and it looked quite smart)
Great pics, keep them coming
GTILEE DO YOU HAVE ANY PICTURES OF HARRINGTON INTERNATIONAL, JOBE TRANSPORT LTD OR KERBEY MOTORS
REGARDS
BEN

I could be wrong (pretty sure i’m right) the Kerbey motor has just been reliveried because of a tie up between Kerbey and Grampian. I belive Grampian has been set up by a group of guys that already run successful haulage companies. I know at least one of the partners.
(if i am wrong, then i’ll apologise now. But i’m pretty sure thats about the size of it)

yep your right mr v, kerbey motors, nj bremner, mike lacey, and a couple others have set up grampian continental but i think it has nothing to do with grampian international which is owned by panelipina, yes kerbey motors, bremner were subbys to grampian int who are now doing the same work.

I knew Mr Lacey was involved, and as i said, i know one other. But i don’t think he’d want his name broadcast
YES THEM 3 SET IT UP AND HAVE HAD A FEW OF THEIR MOTORS HAVE BEEN LIVERED IN GRAMPIAN CONTINENTAL COLOURS SO SHOW THEM PICS THEN GTILEE
The Grampian Continental one is already up. Parked between the two bremners. Will upload a few more during the week. Might be out on the A1 near Stibbington today if anyone is passing

Few more… Is this the Mortimer you was after? If so they are from MelkshamThat’s them the trucks are beauty’s
very original livery. Thanks for that also I like the iggy all light up
Great to see the Mortimer kit again !
I did a few summers with them back in the mid 90’s. Fabulous kit to drive and what an experience to run around Western Europe whilst my fellow students were stacking shelves.
I see Toby is on the forum. My how he has growd up ! (Don’t worry I haven’t got any photos of you back then !)
Your Dad was a pleasure to work for. I must get a scanner and get some of my photos fro then up on the forum.
Hats off to all you European truckers, it was an experience to have a glimpse of your lifestyle. What a difference between the Navvy with a wagon in this country and the ‘Chauffer’ on the continent.
Cheers Alan
Where and when did u take foto off Martin Ryan Daf with Carna Transport trailer?? My mate drivers that full time! We call him Sheep… Real name Jason O’Connell.
