Calm down Alder mate, you’re starting to sound smug!
No not smug I am just answering the questions. Excited about tonight as I am out on my own with the unit and trailer I am sharing with the day man.

LOL, you’re sounding like a kid in a sweet shop pal. Which is good!
It’s nice to look forward to work, it makes it all SOOO much easier!
Best of luck.
Wow a new and improved alder he’s not such a miserable old ■■■■■■■■ after all well done mate just takes that one person to give you a chance
glad your happy hope all is going well in the job so far !
Thanks ash I think getting away from agency was the key. I always thought agency was for me and obviously it is not. I am finally happy with the a job driving legal trucks and trailers, a decent pay rate and treated with respect by work colleagues.

lets see how you feel in a months time after you have started to get into the job, who is going to be the first to bang one of the new trailers ? those warehouse staff you have met in calm surroundings might not be so friendly when there being pushed
lets hope its not you who is the first to damage a trailer as its going to be a huge example to the rest when the first damages start to show up
other than thati hope it all works out well and that in a months time your not posting up your looking for a new job
Yeah but now at least he can blame the agency drivers enjoy your full time role and paying taxes.
Lol Desipete I don’t damage trailers mate I am shunting in the yard whilst getting tipped and reloaded so that the day drivers trucks are ready in the morning, do about 5 a night. Also a few of our drops and collections are very tight and I have one in Bradford that is a jack-knife blindside onto the bay so not at all phased by that.
Glad you got away from agency mate that was one thing I didn’t want to do but was prepared to do it for a year for experience but I am so glad I don’t now and have been given a chance
Well done ash, agency is terrible but for newbies it is a way to get some experience and get out there so that when they do go for a decent job they can confidently go on the assessment and not muck up reverses etc. Better to iron out these teething problems like tight spots and mishaps before getting into a job that you really want. So use agencies to your own advantage I say but great if you can avoid them altogether as you have.

Got the job I wanted thanks for good luck sentimentsGot to go as I start at 6pm glad to be back on nights better pay than I expected £11.50 and £13.00 after 40 hours, overtime if and when you want it, no nights out at all, uniforms when they arrive as it is new company. Very pleasant people introduced to the warehouse foreman
that is a first! Trucks and trailers brand spankers. Another company called at 15:20 the driver who got the job over me did not turn up this morning
