As it was years ago and the company no longer exists I should be Ok. As I drive full time now in a digi lorry I’m legit. You can look at it as greed on the drivers part as long as they get paid for it but also it might be they are just doing what they are told to keep a job.
Boyles transport directors got five years for tachograph fraud, drivers were also jailed.
Some were doing 21 hour duties with no rest.
The paper trail was evidence, from Anpr on the roads, to cctv at garage fuel stops, delivery places cctv, ferry booking times.
The times and places did not tally up.
The heads of the tacho machines were binned, then replaced.
So it’s not looking good then ! They got caught at another company and came here , I’ve got infringements but nothing like that so I don’t have to worry about them coming to check here. From the beginning I didn’t think they would get jail but by reading most comments and that article from ■■■■■■■ it is looking more like jail ! 1 lad said they went to magistrates and the judge said I don’t know how to punish you because I don’t know too much about transport law or some ■■■■■■■■ and that is why they are going to crown court instead
