Superbe Michel.
Here one in a small hamlet.
Eric,
Saw it at Brough Lawrence looking good but I thought it was still tidy before the repaint!
Used to own and still ran this all over Europe well into the 90’s, was up for auction last week but sold prior to going on the stage. Guide price 25 to 35K but don’t know who owns it now or how much was paid, Buzzer.

I know they are 89s but a great centre spread of Truck magazine !
I was driving an F88 around the same time of the Edwin Shirley truck pics, but the livery & thought of taking bands gear around europe took my fancy but never bothered trying. They were the front runners on that type of work in those days.

Sorry about the quality of the photo - taken with the camera on my phone through a rather heavily bug-splattered screen.
This one’s still earning it’s keep, running out of Tangier port.

I’m surprised to see that still going! It used to shunt unaccompanied trailers out of Tangier docks when I took these pictures in Tangier. The first one I took about 15 years ago! The bottom one about 11 years ago and you can see the wagon I was driving in the background at Offshore TIR parking near Malabata district. Robert
Interesting experiment in the UK

In Norway a TFB88 early version from haulage company Nor-Tra. Notice the rare front wheel for Scandinavian, more used in Swiss and Middle East.

whitworths in wellingborough ran the same type of outfit , but with an ERF on the front. they didn’t have long to test the concept before the DOT pulled the plug on it.
