Round here they used to train them on manuals with a local instructor, until about 2 years ago, then they bought a nice FM Curtainsider with iShift, the lucky beggars!

Back when they had the 3 series they sounded like the exhaust brake was on but it did it especially when accelerating.
In honesty, from the time I spent as a cadet in the fire service playing with the 3 series that’s really what encouraged me to get into truck driving.
I even bought a P93M 210 a couple of years back just to play in!
