I use my iPhone4. I have an in car charger that will easily stretch up to the dashboard and it sits on a gorillapod (see gadgets.co.uk/mas_assets/full/GORILLAPOD.jpg). There’s 16gb worth of free space on my phone and I just delete it if nothing eventful happens, then it’s ready for the next journey.
