Does an Oldhamer count as a Manc

Do the clubs still do a BOGOFF,buy one get one free offer in the ladies bars, lesbo show, and dancing on the pole, the UK is 20 years behind the times,in Spain, you see a club every 20 km`s.An Indian restaurant owner was refused planning permision in a sleepy country town,he applied for a licence to show exotic films, and have some dancing ladies,it was refused,as local nimbies and people with no life, protested that the school kids would be offended and scared for life by seeing what was going on in the indian restaurant, this means the kids would pass by in school hours, but the entertainment would go on untill 2 am,no kids at that time for adults to endulge.A town in Somerset.
In Spain, you see clubs, that are in residential areas, and public officers will visit, like the town mayor, chief of the police, the town judge, and nobody cares. What is the problem, buy a drink, have a cuddle with an attractive lady, the UK is repressed and ignorant, like Queen Victoria, once her lover had died, she imposed her values on her servers, before that, she was at it like a rabbit, then dressed in black clothing mourning for Prince Albert. :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

i wouldnt mind some of that either, may be down in sept to check out the gaff, unfortunately i,m working in france at the moment as we/all know what the works like in spain, my place is up in murcia so it aint that far away, just need to book me a parador or such like nearer the time if mon chef lets me have the time off!!

i keep an eye out for the wbis with his dragon on his cab but aint seen him yet, my old beast is easier to spot, i got a 54 plate volvo fh12 in jc fiolet livery ie, uk plates french paint job! ,theres only 2 54 plates on the fleet and the other 1 is spare so that narrows it down a bit. normally found on a service area in france germany or if reqd the uk!!

taff you’re welcome to come let me know if you need somewhere to kip

Sounds like a hangover coming on - again! Just hope Im home that weekend, have you spoken to Hotpot and Jimmy as well?

James, At a guess have you any idea how much a taxi would be from Benalmadena to Sitio de Calahonda, coming of at El Zoco just past Mijas market ground and going right up the hill ?I,m also down there the weekend of the 9th Sept its a fiesta on the Friday.

I would guess 20 - 30 euros.

Hombre:
I would guess 20 - 30 euros.

it might be cheaper to pay for a hostal especially if the cost could be shared.

we’ve had a taxi home from calahonda, the oceano hotel, at night and it was 30 if i remember.
rooms are at a good price now as there are less tourists about, 45 euros for a nice room in the triton if you book online.
hombre, davey hotpot and jimmy are obviously invited but how rare would it be to have so many citma drivers home on the same weekend

Have any of you Spanish residents ever seen the film “The Business”■■

You maybe thinking of “■■■■■■”, same type of film but that was set in England.

■■■■■■, Lock Stock, the Business, all great films. (IMHO! )

The Business is about the usual South London boys on the Costas during the 80`s. Danny Dyer is in it.

Personally I think its brilliant, could put alot of names to some of the characters in the film!!

Sound like you you bunch of desperado’s may have updated it!

there was a film about 6 or 7 years ago filmed here in benalmadena on the marina and in marbella and puerto banus, i’m sure mike reid was in it
there are plenty of places to find the stereotypical crap you read about in the UK press but unless you want drugs or getting shot for being a cockneystylee gangster then stick to the nice bits and alls well
