Urgent Help. All Sorted Now

His driving licence came back in the post yesterday with a typewritten explanation. (First I have ever seen, normally handwritten in doctors hand) At 16.00 on the 10th August in Chartres Msr. *** ***** was driving voiture ******* according to blah blah blah

19 - 25 mph = €135

The next tier of fines is €1500 :open_mouth:

(90kmh) 132kmh

Msr. ***** cannot drive in any territories of Le Republic Francaise for 15 jours.

So a very lucky man and an expensive lesson learnt as it has cost him.

€135 Fine
€60 Extra night for 3 people in a hotel
€28 Supplementary charge on Eurotunnel for late change to booking
€12 Taxi charge from Chartres to hotel for spare driver
£230 single train ticket from Derby to Chartres for spare driver
£50 wages lost from part time job in the UK

Speed doesn’t kill, but it does zb hurt
