The only time he ran was on the platform at Stockwell tube station - and that was almost certainly because the train was already waiting. Throughout the rest of the time that he was followed from his flat, on and off buses to Brixton station and into Stockwell station itself, he was walking. Reports that he ran into the station, vaulted the ticket barriers etc were total fiction. His visa had not expired and he was in the UK quite legally.

Exactly what he said… I am impressed that they are catching drivers using hand held phones, eating 3 course meals, watching movies and even some ■■■■ heads.
I don’t do any of the above so have nothing to fear.

It’s hard to say different police are using different lorries . I’m happy the police or the guards don’t use them over here

I have seen on TV a cop driving a tractor unit looking for victims this guy is a scotch guy ,called Hamish can’t recall his second name he is a ex trucker and this guy knows all the tricks and the law inside out you can’t fool him he knows it all if he pulls you your gone he usually works the Midlands he is a poacher turned gamekeeper. Be careful out there

Whilst being checked over at Switch Island Liverpool the merseyside police truck came in. A plain white brand new volvo, even with a private number plate. Upon talking to the sergeant found out a few interesting things… merseyside police have a team of 3 policemen paid purely to deal with commercial motors. This guys name was Craig, he was red hot on all things legal and looked about 17 but was probably more 35 years of age. Talking with him further I asked the question…why are car drivers not chased down when they cut the truck up and go across the front of it, for example…on top or near motorway exits etc. His reply was that yes they know it happens but they cant issue a fixed penalty notice for this offence, they have to go to court and prove that the driver was driving dangerously which takes months… without saying it basically saying we are an easier target and done and dusted with in 10 mins. Then again with using a mobile phone raking in up to 1000 pound if you, the professional hgv driver is caught using one…why do they need to stop 16 car drivers to rake in the same money ? Maybe im just cynical
Saw the white Scania on the A1 today northbound at the A57/A614 Jcts…They were trying to spy on a white Iveco Stralis pulling a blue container

This changed recently when the fixed penalty went from £60 to £100. It’s the same reason middle lane hogs rarely got penalised. Now it can be dealt with by way of fixed penalty so it makes it more simple and less time consuming for the police.

But not for driving dangerously (which was specifically mentioned in the OP). Only the lesser offences of Careless or Inconsiderate driving would be dealt with by FP.
Thank you Trubster Angus Nairn is the cop on TV he is lethal I remember a few years ago North Wales police put a horse box with a speed camera in it on I think the road on the Lanberris pass
