Do agencies really do that?? Withhold pay and say it is your holiday pay?? That sounds to me like you are paying yourself to go on holiday■■?

No need for that smart ■■■■■ i actually have no idea why I said “some of your comments”… all is taken on board… but when you’re visiting sick family you expect a bit of leeway.

Who expects a bit of leeway? I wouldn’t.
You can have the time off… just don’t expect to be put back on that placement when you get back. Seems perfectly fair and legitimate to me. It’s a cruel world Sam and the wheels of commerce have got to keep turning… with or without you.
So what’s it to be; are you going to have your cake or are you going to eat it?
Sam, I might have got it wrong here, but I always thought you got 1.5 days a month holiday plus bank holidays, and you’ve already had one day off and didn’t you take time off for your C+E as well ?
Seems like youv’e used up your holidays already and if I recall you only started in March. You’ve got yourself regular work driving a lorry, something which youv’e always wanted to do, so don’t risk it, maybe you could go see your relatives at the weekend instead.

christ, i only get like 22 days off a year max, every 12 shifts gives me an extra days holiday.

You’re entitled to 5.6 weeks holiday a year now, that’s 28 days 
Meh I just save up most of mine for jan when agency is usually dead,

Which if you’re on a 5 day week is 28 days holiday.
Meh i dont take many days off during the year tbh im lucky if i use 5 or 6 between march and december.
