I wanna go but my ‘truck driving’ (night trunking box jockey) mate ain’t interested and nor is my lad (loves cars but not really trucks) so don’t wanna look like a Billy no mates (even though that’s the truth) [emoji23]
Never been to one so will have to at least once one day!
This is the year to go when the weather is on your side!
ROG:
Looks like I am going on my own on Sunday from near Walkers Crisps factory Leicester so if anyone wants a lift please PM me
I’m in Sussex what time will you be collecting me.
Sorry not this year although been a few years since I was there but son birthday yesterday ( 4 May ) & going to watch him play in Sheffield on Sunday working Monday
Il be heading down this afternoon, always normally working so have never been to peterborough truckfest before.
Il be out and about on my own, sunday afternoon walking about in the sun. Cant beat it imo.
■■■■■■ if I’m spending £50 on a family day ticket, then there’s the over priced food, because of the stupid pitch prices, (we do take picyniky,) will miss all the fat tang wannabes, wandering around, and the box jockeys wearing the hi-viz and rigger boots,.
But at £50 I’m out.

Thanks for letting us know
Quite enjoyed plodding round in the sunshine yesterday but one thing I did notice was most makes of lorry had a good presence there except for MAN? Maybe I just didn’t look hard enough but was just wondering is there a reason they don’t bother showing off their wares when most of the other makes do?

One of my jobs is MAN hospitality and so far this year the only events I have been to are Scotplant in Edinburgh and UK Coach Rally in Blackpool and was surprised I was not taking it to Peterborough this year.
I went on Sunday and spent a long time finding the T&D stand as they had shrunk it to a 2 bed caravan size box trailer with no flags
Enjoyed a chat with Rikki and the crew as well as many cups of coffee

I went on Saturday and looked everywhere for the MAN stand to no avail! Christ! Even IVECO could be bothered to turn up [emoji35]
