Truck & Driver is crap in my opinion. All they focus on is blinged up, mega horsepower trucks that are pleasing on the eye. Why not show some of the less glamorous points of haulage such as a fleet of standard, everyday trucks? Perhaps interview a fitter from an oily back street garage? Spend a couple
Of days with a driver on muck away/trunking/tankers etc.Matt.

Well actually recent H&S legislation requires that each stowaway has a seat or you risk hefty fines, and you may notice that I even have an assistant with a hi-viz to guide them to their seat and make sure they remain seated for the entire journey. Also all the seat are reward facing as that is supposed to be safer, but I’m not so sure it is such a good idea with the drivers seat.
You’d soon run out of seats to put at the back of a bus around Brixton when I grew up. They’d end up under the bridge at Coldharbour Lane.
