quote ttx " don’t think its the green lorrys fault", ttx did you attend the scene, get the facts get measurements ?, or did you come to that conclusion by the picture in the 2nd post, the road was closed for a total of 10hrs between everything,
where that picture was taken there is a junction joining the a48 with no slip road, there is a haulage contractor based down that road,it looks more likely the lorry pulled out the junction onto the a48 in front of the van thinking the van driver would have moved into lane 2, how far away was the van when the lorry pulled out only the lorry driver could tell you,
was the van driver on the phone, texting or tired,
maybe the lights weren’t working on the trailer van driver didn’t see the lorry, i couldn’t tell you
i passed the scene at 12pm and the lorry and van were being recovered,the road was closed till 4pm while the police did their investigations,
unless you know what exactly happened its best you keep your opinions to your self.
i will not be joining you for a slagging match, best wait until the police finish their investigation.
