Spotted a Transam Trailer with red unit pulling it, M1 northbound J14 about 8:35am Sunday 15th :slight_smile:

My first transam spot :wink: way better than Stobbie spotting

Spied Trans Am and black XF this morning on the A5 Shrewsbury bypass, parked on the layby pointing west, at about 8 am.

im guessing thats either shanksy or ‘shirley’ (guess who he used to work for!!! :laughing: ), both on strictly come dancing, heading to birmingham from glasgow

think thats one of our old ones mate if it had a red unit on it, if it was a stepframe, it will be owned by scenic developments who make backgrounds etc for theatre productions

Same, returned application with cv etc but not heard anything.

I get the impression this is the kinda job you only can get into if you know somebody or your very lucky to apply at just the right time.

Same, spoke to Tam too, but he said they wouldn’t want anyone till easterish and even then they have all their regular drivers. I’ll probably be stuck doing nothing or agency crap for a lot longer :stuck_out_tongue:

i didnt know anyone when i started, just got lucky, its a bit of an advantsge living in suffolk, but the top drivers dont live in east anglia at all

yea same, if i get a call ill be happy, if i dont im nto gonna be all ■■■■■ about it cause i understand why, working your way up or extreme luck seems the name of the game.

theres about 16 of us on AC/DC mate, plus 2 Shirleys and 2 Redburns, and 1 Stardes, we all went that way, im sure id have noticed some one ‘coming off’ thou!!!

How strange is this. I saw an 08 DAF on the M25 on Thursday. The driver seemed to be looking straight at me :blush: It was quite strange really as I had a video wall on the trailer and delivered it to a place that sets up the lighting and advertising on a music gig.

i can now be popular and add to this group. i saw one heading south on the m3 then one in fleet services heading north and then a 7.5tonner jst after fleet too heading towards london this afternoon… In fact i got soo excited that i txted euromat and he wants my autograph… I feel like a rockstar :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:
