Harry Monk:
Income Tax depends on your allowance, but for a single man a gross wage of £500 means a net wage of £388.69, four nights out at £20 makes a total weekly take-home pay of £468.69 which I would say was about average.
Thats a take home wage for home every night , not tramping by a long shot.
Although looking again at OP I guess its maybe good for the area he is in .
why do people assume that drivers will work for 15 hours for £100?
the only people i know that work for 15 hours, are those that will work for hourly pay.
if you are paid by the day, then you do your work, then knock it on the head.
if you end up with one of those ■■■■ in the office that thinks he can set more work for the same day rate just because you crack on, then tell him it ain’t happening without more £££.
That job is ups/ haulfast as stated. You will do 3 x 15 and 2 x 13 and you will be parking at Argos rdcs.

I get home every night and i earn roughly £470 a week. Roughly i do 60hrs a week. It has got to be some kind of a sick advert
I earn more than that for 40-odd hours a week! No nights out, usually finished mid-afternoon, no silly o’clock starts, no buggering about with POA to pad out the hours…

When I was on that job, they used to run you back into the depot in Derby ( forgot the name of the road - next door to steel fabricating factory ) … wasn’t too bad - showers / microwave.
Was always there Fri night … then trl to Argos Heywood Sat am … back to yard … that “filled” your guarenteed 4 hrs on Sat. They hated if they just had to run you back to Shaw Cross … did that once SOLO ( no trl @ Derby ) … they were crying in the traffic office, 'cos i still got 4hrs pay
