Training Company or Instructor

did he pass

Test called as ‘No test’ - too long etc

Cant see how they can do that. If I had been the trainee or the trainee had been one of mine you would still be able to smell the stink I would have caused to this day. :smiling_imp:

Serious offence I believe so a greast deal of comp required not just a retest on the free.

Qualitas seems to ring a bell on that one.

The 3 day and test company. I know how they work and their small print is really small.

If you can read this you have good eye sight .

Qualitas have some shall i say quality selling points but read the small print.

If you would like to ask any question or know the bad side about qualitas ask the question i tell no lies.

If you can read the small print you should have no problem with an eyesight test

Hi 26 years an Lgv Trainer , you might enjoy reading this topic in which Clearstone was mentioned several times, and you’ll also find a bit more than a suggestion of what’s what.
Please read it through for yourself and add some factual comment if you like.

:open_mouth: Anyway, make a butty and a brew cos there’s three pages of THIS FORUM TOPIC. Have fun.:grimacing:

On the subject of vehicles - My trainer uses a full size 18t rigid for C - 10.6 metres long. For CE he uses an artic - 16.5 metres long, trailer is a tandem with axles fitted right at the rear. When I do my CE, I think I’ll find this a real challenge… But I do think that it will stand me in good stead to train in proper sized vehicles as opposed to the minimum spec.

Trainer himself a fine sort, but a bit of a “headnipper” - still hear the likes of “40” (speed limit on single carriageways), “use the bus lanes - left hand side of the road for normal driving”, “use the whole of the road - it was put there for you”, “It’s a dual carriageway, what’s the speed limit?” 50" I said “Then LET’S DO IT!!!”, “Mirrors, Mirrors!!!” The regular examiner is DEATH on them!!" But on my big day, this all helped me! I’ll say it again - I’ll be using him for my Class 1!

OK, got a little bit sidetracked there, but of course the big problem when choosing a school is this - you only see the adverts for the companies in the papers, Yellow Pages and the like - if there’s any mention of the trainers, it’s just to say how many bits of paper they hold and how wonderful they are.

The only REAL way to find out about the actual folks at the coalface of the organisation is to ask others - and of course consult forums such as these. Word of mouth is not only the cheapest form of advertising - with the likes of LGV training (which is very expensive) it’s also one of the best!
