Top Gear Last Episode

classic Jezza

It got boring a long time ago. Who cares about a (so called) star in a reasonably priced car? Or which German junk they are testing against another German junkmobile. Yet another supercrap going round the track! Only the challenges provided any entertainment so a 1 hour show was really half an hour of watchable program with plenty of opportunities to put the kettle on

Mikey D:
WTF^^^^^^

+1 :unamused:

Very true. I thought most of the show in the studio was pretty boring and same old year in year out, the track stuff and the guests were dull as dishwater. The lap times mean nothing to me. What I liked was the silly comedy on their challenges and the film making was brilliant at times. I could watch anything by James may on his own all day long. His Toy stories was great. Hopefully their next venture will be more comedy stuff and small films. Leave the bland car track stuff with project/book/film promoting guests. Leave that to Evans. I can’t stand the big gob.

BBC got it right,Clarkson`s constant big mouth, gaffs and arrogance made him an over paid liability.

a victim of his own success was what Clarkson become, decided he was untouchable and got what anyone else doing the same would have. for me top gear was starting to become very very repetitive same old lets buy … drive across … whilst being followed in … throw in a few ‘■■■■■’ from may and the normal Hammondisms.

cant believe how many people are already saying the new one will be ■■■■ etc. not a single episode has been made yet? lets be fair I reckon about 50% of these pro Clarkson people didn’t even watch the show until Hammond smashed it on the airfield.

I never missed an episode from day 1, even the first series, with that seriously fat Jason Dawe guy in it. Bit of a middle class Mike Brewer type. Funny how Dave never repeats those!

watched top gear tonight with on demand 30 6 15, it was good with the S U V s and the caravan race, and it shows exactly what I mean when chris evans and co take over, they wont be doing any of that, guarantee it,can you really see them getting all muddy, crashing cars and other items and generally having a laugh,no chance

I agree we should give it a chance,i myself am not a fan of Clarkson, but he Hammond and may did make top gear with what they got up to and got away with,i cannot see evans and Co doing any of the same it will just become another boring car show,i hope I am wrong but I don’t think I will be

I can’t see Evans having the time to do them, surely he’d have to have weeks on end off the radio to do one of these, buy a … and cross the… jobbies. Is he Auntie Beeb’s answer to Ant and Dec?

Wants to be on everything, which is all well and good, if you want to be a jack of all trades, means you can’t master a one of them.

If I see that bloody advert for the TFI album again I’ll trash my tv.

Someone like John Bishop would be good. Just let him write his own script.

Ah well, at least something good will come out of it

And sadly thats it goodnight

Last ever episode of top gear on BBC with James Richard Jeremy Sunday 28 June
Nothing to do with lorry i know.

Excellent news,3 less crayon chewers on the telly.

I recall Evans being on the One Show when he was announced, saying he was TG’s biggest fan, and he’d rather it’d carried on just as it was.

Last week on the radio, he gave Joanna Lumley a right royal rollicking for saying on air that the Stig speaks when doing instructing, hmmmmm, seems like he missed countless other episodes where guests actually said that on the show.

And I remember last year when JC did his annual “new series coming, let’s go sell it to the media” junket.

Evans- “so how come you’ve been moved to BBC2?”

Clarkson- “TG has never, ever been on any other channel, even old TG”

The ginger ■■■■ is a walking encyclopedia of all things TG, obviously.

See how the radio show that he insisted wouldn’t be going anywhere as a result of his new job, now appears to be the Sara Cox show?

Bell End

bigvern1:
I’m not watching it. Sick of that Ginger ■■■■.

Indeed him and some bird who probably pays someone to fuel their car, Guy Martin or Rhys Ifans yes, but that insipid pair of lightweights no chance.

A lot of people, including me and my wife will watch the first program, BUT, will we watch the second?

Will I watch Top Gear with Chris Evans - probably
Will I watch Clarkson, Hammond & May on whatever they call it - DEFINITELY!!! NUFF SED!
