I have upgraded to version 5 and yes you will have to wait for the new maps for full postcode support. I have been using a POI with full postcodes for last 6 months it can be found at a very useful site 4 ttg owners: www.pocketgps.com, this is where the safety camera database can be downloaded also. :smiley: Top website if you are into satnav

looking at the screen shots it basicly looks the same as the hp nav pack which based on the go software looks quite good from the reveiw :wink:

Hello all,
Just wondering where is the best/cheapest place to buy TOMTOM CD for my PDA, I already have a PDA and a Bluetooth GPS receiver so I only need the software and as I would like to use the POI application with it, in particular the Speed camera location one!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

wait for the v5 software i have it o good authority :wink: that it s really good no pricses yet but as tt mobile was launched this week and go v5 last it shouldnt be too long

Nowt wrong with a big box of maps. Can never see myself trying to follow a dot around a screen and this comes from one of the younger generation of truck drivers. :open_mouth:

I’ve got UK and will shortly have europe wide maps in a box that I can sit on my dash. If the [zb] hits the fan, then I use it as a rolling map. It’s cut the size of the bag(s) I carry around with me down no end :wink:.

Is anybody running tom tom go on a O2 XDA2s?

I’ve just ordered the phone/pda & then found you can run T,T,G on it.

I’ve already got a siemens vdo in the truck but would be interesting to compare the 2 with T,T,G in the car.

How much does it cost for the software & updates?

make sure you do the rom ugrade brefore installing the and navigation software i used the xda2i and tomtom copilot and aa run fine onit you can use a bluetooth headset and bluetooth gps receiver at the same time the kse fax software can be a pain as you have to disconect the phone side of the device to send /receive faxes its easier than it sounds really and you can print then off with kse print software via infrared or bluetooth
