Tom Tom Go on test

It does look good steve_24v but I have seen the
tom tom go and its not that big and from Liberace
and JayHoe good review it sounds perfect for me.
And I am not good with mobile phones

Liberace:
It’s the street or first part of the postecode. It doesn’t have industrial estates listed. Won’t do a full postcode lookup mind :unamused: .

If you get TomTom 3 on a PDA rather than TomTom Go, there is a app called UK Postcode Tools which does a full UK postcode lookup and integrates with TomTom. Free too.

As Conner has said… Just download the post code look up…

It installs as a separate program (you don’t use it via Tomtom) and once it has found it, you can either look at the map or add it as a destination to Tomtom…

I haven’t got my GPS yet (it arrives Thursday) so at the mo it’s purely a replacement for autoroute (which it aint that good at) and I have found one small problem…

Where’s Redditch…!!!

Luv
Chrisie… :sunglasses:

Ragtop,

Redditch has been cancelled because nobody ever bothered to go there.

Just off the M42 J1 according to TomTomGo :stuck_out_tongue: . Well, the A38 in Redditch is anyway :sunglasses: .

Can’t wait to get my TomTom Go - best online routefinder is

Please advise if anyone finds TomTom Go cheaper than £395.00

i`ve been on their site and its a great machine not only for the uk but also for europe and eastern europe…they say old habits die hard…i might give up the maps and buy one.when the price comes down…or unless one falls off the back of a lorry
i have e.mailed the company and told them that if they reduced the price and advertised on trucknet …they would sell a lot more…keep your fingers crossed
have a nice day

I know maps dont do this, but does this tom tom take into account, low bridges and weight limits?

No Gurner, it doesn’t but it will quickly re-route you if you come to a restriction and have to divert.

I am in no way affiliated with this company.

It looked interesting for anyone looking to buy a Nav system

I’ve used totalpda, and I’m not sure I’d recommend them. I suggest reading their forums (I’ve put a post on there) before you decide whether to place an order.
