eye-catching Scania artic.
Even if Fraggle Rock quarry were still operating , I couldnt imagine seeing this emerging from the quarrys bowels,…eh Dew ? :unamused: :laughing:

:laughing: :laughing: At least they’ve tarmaced the road in so it didn’t wash away in heavy rains for the last couple of years.

I’d imagine the driver wouldn’t get it near there though, for fear of scratching it on the lanes!

Scammell cab on a leyland chassis, from around the Leek/Ashbourne area, anyone got the history on it ?

I think this mongrel is in a barn close to Long Rake Spar ,sometimes it’s down in youlgreave at the back of the George pub.i heard once it was a comet chassis and that it ran out of longcliffe quarry.

Just found and gone through this site. Excellant photos especially those from Ulceby and Imminham. Excuse my ignorance (being a West Wales Boy) but what are they hauling from there as I note the lorries are from all parts of the UK
