Those Fodens of Sammies earned their corn . Buxton to Fleetwood , Fleetwood to Winnington , Winnington to Buxton loaded all the way , and double shifted into the bargain . the Hazel croft one was driven by Stuart ? , took it over from me when I got a new artic Foden with the ■■■■■■■ 290 . I only got that because I was the only driver with a class one licence . Dave

You name a lorry n this firm almost certainly had one . Been at it for a long while, 90+ motors I’m told. Based at Charnwood trucks old garage also own J21 truck stop. I was told that they took A J Bull over, does anyone know.

I don’t know about them taking over A J Bull, but I do know when I was on the bulkers we done a bit of work through Bulk freight midlands, but it was actually sherwoods who you got paid by. :sunglasses:

Yes Scamm when they had Bulk Freight they also got a very big house in with the deal, I know because the crowd I worked for rewired it. I did some work at Bulks garage n also George Varney at Watford Gap. As you know they were big in refuse shifting same as Bull which would make sense if they did take them over. Keep them pics coming they’re a tipper mans delight

:sunglasses: They always ran a tidy fleet of motors as I remember, as much as they was on and off the tips all day they was always kept smart. Last loads I ever done was late 99/2001, it was still going as A J bull for a few years after that. :sunglasses:

Redland Mountsorrel run the dry stone down ,to a stock yard near the bottom of the M10, to be coated for covering the concrete bit of the M1.I’d tipped there n was taking my break when this or sister of pulled in. The stock ground must have been a field originally n sloped from back to front, the ninny of a driver decides to tip broadside on it. Up to 5th ram n over she goes tractor as well. I run over n between the two of us he came out the passenger door " I weren’t expecting that " he says ,I thought what a t**t.
