Tinkers work Sundays; They’re driving around here right now in a white transit van with “scrap wanted” blowing an air horn. Very admirable of them to let us know they’re about so we can lock our garages, hide our pets and bicycles.
Funny you should say that, I was down in Weston Super Mare yesterday visiting my Mum and Dad and they were doing the same thing, my dogs were out in the back garden I got them in, when My Dad asked why I had got them in, I said because that ■■■■■■■ scum will steal them.
