Hi martin25, For your sake I do hope you took proper legal advice before rejecting the £500 offer.
Rejecting a “reasonable” offer can sometimes have a way of coming back and biting you on the ■■■.
Given that the company has made the offer, it looks like you got the application in before the three month time limit had expired.

 Good luck mate.:grimacing:

Rather than spend money with a solicitor, is it worth while looking at a ‘no win, no fee’ solicitor. - Just and idea.

recieved letter from the tribuneral place today the pre review hearing for next wednesday has been postponed and the meeting is now listed for a full days hearing in may. what does this mean?? tryed speaking with acas as no one is there at the moment

Thanks for all the advice and support thanks

Hi martin25, I’m not sure I follow you mate.

You said the pre-hearing review has been “postponed,” which usually means that it will be re-scheduled for another date.
Has the reason requiring the pre-hearing review been resolved then?? (you didn’t say.)

If your case has gone forward to a full hearing, does the communication you received actually say that?? Or is it a rescheduled pre-hearing review??

Have you got proper representation or taken advice yet?? (I wouldn’t like to see you come a cropper here mate. )
I asked that because you might have to come up with a very good reason for having rejected the £500 offer.

Ms************ Has further odered that this case be listed for a full 1 day hearing and has issued a directions order withthis correspondance together with a notice of hearing

Thanks for that martin25.
I’d advise you to read the directions order very carefully and make sure that you comply with every word.
Then you need to prepare for the big day.
Have you made yourself aware of the way that the hearing will be conducted?
Do you have your witnesses (if any) ready?
Do you have the necessary documents and statements in a “bundle” and have you made sufficient copies?
Have you identified exactly which law you alledge that your former boss has broken?
Do you need references to case-law, and have you researched them?

It’s somewhat difficult to offer you help and advice, because you haven’t yet said whether you have got legal representation.

That’s made even worse by the fact that you haven’t said what your former boss’ position is. By now, he will have had to have given his side of the story, or face being barred from defending your claim.

Sorry to say this mate, but IMHO from the way you’re posting, I STRONGLY advise you to get proper representation for the hearing. I’m afraid that nobody can offer you any meaningful help or advice unless they’re in possession of the full facts.

I wish you luck, but that might not be anywhere near sufficient if you’re going it alone…

hELLO MATE THANKS FOR THE ADVICE WOULD BE HAPPY TO GIVE YOU ALL THE DETAILS OVER THE PHONE IF YOU EVER HAD TIME MATE THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY ANYWAY

A bit better than we at first thought eh? :grimacing:

You deserve every penny after what those ZBs did to you.

Good luck mate.

Now that your ordeal is finally over you why dont you name and shame the company so no-one else makes the mistake of working for them.

If the case was settled without a hearing, it might have been ‘without predjudice’ which means that he can’t…

Sometimes it’s a condition of early settlement, because it’s a way for a company to avoid adverse publicity when a manager has been a numpty…:grimacing:
