I didn’t break anything but some poor sod in an 8 wheeler hook loader had a union let go on the ram and dump a small lake of oil into the yard.

I had a spare susie but I couldn’t undo the ■■■■ thing so they did it for me and I was on my way in about 20 mins. Cheers fella’s

[zb] jesus, you’re becoming an almost extinct driver. One who has a spare and knows how to change it.

nothing this week thankfully…just not telling you what i broke last week

i may have broken my cheek bone ffs

got tapped on it by me curtain pole … didnt hurt at the time but i got a man size swelling on my face now god dam it …

and its proper sore …

Not broke , slightly bent steel fence uprights with a Roller ! Was rolling the yard with 7ton Roller at 5am.Last pass next to the railway fence and the banking went from under me  leaving the roller front wedged into the fence . I went into full panic mode thinking it was a B/Rail fence knowing what they are like for H&S. Then the Manager got the forklift bogged down trying to pull me out, what a ■■■■■■■ mess .Went to the next yard and they pulled us both out and told us the rail was private owned thank ■■■■, i pulled the fence uprights out with a long strop from solid ground best i could. By the time daylight came in you only know there had been a mishap if you were looking for it. :unamused:

Yea I always carry a spare set I think its stupid not to really - Oh and I’ve got some bigger spanners now for next time

I broke a key in the lock to a loading bay, with hilarious consequences.

Pushing a 700kg cage up a slight incline into the loading bay and got it in, as I moved to go and retrieve the key that operates the shutter door the cage rolls back towards me and by the time I’d got it stopped it had gone full whack into the door mechanism and snapped the key clean in half inside the lock.
Which sent the door crazy going endlessly up and down, and this was at 3am on an industrial estate.
Managed to find an electrical cut off switch outside and hit it just at the moment the door was closed so at least it looked secure even if it wasn’t.

The brainiac they sent to sort it out, however, wasn’t a locksmith. He was a security guard armed with a toothpick and a tube of superglue.
He got the end of the key out of the lock with the toothpick and then glued the key back together… no joke.
I left before he got to try his amazing fix, as he said “Better let it dry for an hour before we use it”

He’s probably still there with his toothpick now.
