Own up, what have you ■■■■■■ up this week then?

I disconnected someone from their BT line in Brickett Wood, I’d backed in the site with a container with a set of stairs on top OK. Came back out and lifted another off our artic and laid the jib on top of the box. Obviously slightly taller

nail

Nowt, I’ve been a good boy, but I’ve done the BT cable in the past when I was on tippers, reversed up, guided into place, started tipping and the secretary came running out - a bit too late though. Thank ■■■■ it wasn’t an electrickery cable

Killed the arsetronic box in the auto daf i’ve been using.
Blooming thing died on me,replacement part cost £900…for a switch… :unamused:
Just as well it was a hire vehicle.Obviously the fitter reckons its all my fault.
Glad to get the manual back, biting point, pure bliss.

I havent broke anything but i just wanna show a big hand to the numpty that tried to squeeze past me in a country lane. :open_mouth: :unamused:
This guy had an 18tn DAF (u know the ones with the indicator stalks stick out for everyone to smash off!) :stuck_out_tongue: and im driving a 10tn Volvo flatbed ( very nice drive may i say),

anywhoo, ive seen him coming and tried to squezze over in a pathetic excuse for a pull in but realising he wont make it. And as im trying to tell him to stop because he wont get through, he gives me the brush off signal with his hand and just carries on…getting closer…and closer…AND CLOSER!!! At this point, his nearside wheel is half a foot up the embankment and his curtain buckles are scraping the rust off the bedsides of my truck and his indicator stalks were breaking off on my crash bars.

It turns out that in the end, he realised that i was right and i showed him how to reverse properly with out even touching his already, quite knackered truck

Note to said Driver: If your on here mate, when someone says you wont get through…try not to listen to that pighead of yours, you mite just save yourself a bollocking…ok? :grimacing:

EDIT May i just say that i never had any damage to my truck but he didnt`half make a good job of getting the rust off. Ive never seen a shine like it LOL :stuck_out_tongue:

The sensor under the hiab platform , now it comes all the way round   don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner , just have to remember to duck now …

not driving related but I managed to headbut a dried nettle stalk with my eye, ■■■■ it hurt  …still got double vision it that eye :unamused:

monday rear lights packed up ! tuesday blew turbo up ! wed and thurs had spare truck (old shed) didnt break that ! today mine back and blew power steering pipe !!! boss said as i was leaving hope you have a better week next week lol

Just forgotten one from one morning this week.

Got sent to collect one of our 5t machines from outside a waterworks, told that one of the hydraulic pipes was split so be careful loading it. Get there and tracked it to roadway, lowered the beavertail and one of the hoses decided to burst big style. Hydraulic everywhere and split hose right above gully. Made a bund of earth to stop oil flowing into drain and called our fitter to make a new hose up. By the time we’d finished there was a big puddle of oil where it had split, another where I’d moved the lorry away from the drain and another where the machine stood.

All of the places to nearly get oil into the water system.
