And why do some drivers hang items of ladies intimate apparel in their cabs?

Saw a dustcart sporting a ■■■■■■■■ once…Miserable sods at Oxford City Council soon stopped that.
barr:
Tacky wheel trims and those hub/ halfshaft covers in chrome effect!
- 1 million.
Cringe everytime I see these. They just look plain wrong on every level. If your boss didn’t ■■■■■ for alloys then why pretend?
Not bothered about anything else apart from the obsession with extra spot lights but most will probably disagree.
Maybe also knobs that blow the air horn at every opportunity as well as when theres blokes with the curtains drawn at truck stops or services.
On a tangent, my own car pet hates are, loud exhausts (on trucks as well unless they can switch to silent running if it’s inapropriate) tinted windows and private number plates.
Furry Cow hairs trucker clogs “Milk sauces on furry clog”
crucifixion light decorate
cheap daft truck pennants
Indian dreamcatcher good luck feather stuff!

That reminded me of a German Scania I once saw with a bleeding great ■■■■■ on the retarder lever - odd what some blokes are in to!
I never really understood those little plastic notepads with two suckers, one to hold it on and the other to pay for it
And what about the paper-clip with the windscreen sucker to hold the Vignette. You could tell me until you were blue in the face, but the Vignette didn’t have to be on display and you didn’t have to keep them for a year or more

The lane number cards that sit and fade in the windscreen just so people can see you’ve been on “the boat” international trucker style 10-4 good buddy
Even more amusing when seen on a unit dragging a tall trailer

Not tacky, just pointless.
You never know though, somebody might notice it when the driver makes it back from his epic trip to Gent…
Especially if you leave that sheet of paper with your lane on when you get off the boat.
(goes to show I’m not the only one who has noticed this one)

AaronR:
For me its gotta be drivers with human size stuffed toys seatbelted into the passenger seat
We had a bloke who did that. We went into profit the month after he left.

Some of the big V8’s do make a cracking noise with the right pipes on though
kr79:
CDs in the windscreen wtf.
I think the CD’s in the window were a result of a mmtm rumour that the CD’s would interupt the reading if a copper was pointing a speed gun at you. The way i saw it, the more gullible you were the more CD’s you had in your window.
As for all the other tat, i’m not really into it apart from a few led’s but as olz69 say’s live and let live. It’s none of my business what another drivers wants to put in his cab.

i know its none of my business but it is funny looking at the tat and taking the ■■■■ out off it.
frilly curtains that come half way across the window in a Renault Magnum

funny rob i thought you were a big fan of tacky tat, iirc wheel trims, pelmets, tables.
the only think in mine is a table, it has got the stainless filled in centre ■■■■■ trims on it, no frilly curtains, no pelmet, no name plates
it does have stainless lightbars on the font too
teddy bears stuffed in the passenger door handle,so that they appear to be looking at you as they go past
or slogans written on the n/s step…eg 3 steps to heaven
Old timer car horn; Who the ■■■■ would put that on a lorry?
Those little square yellow lamps; A lot of clapped owner operator tippers around here had them. They must’ve doubled the value of an FL7 6wheeler.
Hombre:

As one of drivers is (allegedly) a woman, I assume she’s drying her washing.
kr79:
CDs in the windscreen wtf.
Sshhhhh…that’s the secret code so all the cross-dressers can identify each other in the truckstop at night.
olz69:
So basically you bunch off sad gits prefer plain white cabs. Have you never heard of live and let live ■■Its up to the individual driver what he puts on his lorry ffs. If its not hurting you and not cost YOU any money
