Never put fuel in the Truck anywhere except Lux if I could help it. Had 1200 litre capacity and I would only put a drop in elsewhere to get me back to Lux in an emergency or if I ran heavy through France. Oddly I was only ever weighed and measured once at the St Louis border and I went there almost every week for 5 years in total. Had the load turned out for a check there a couple of times though.

Yep thats the place. Its a million miles to walk to the pub for a meal, but otherwise we have all the mod cons there - for the three S’s at least.

Thanks for that mate, look forward to seeing you. Won’t be in the first 6 to 8 weeks of 2009 as I have 2 trainee’s to put through the mill and it takes about 3 weeks each to train from scratch, plus I have to renew my ADR in Jan so will be kept local and busy I think.

Now there’s a strange thing… I’ve got quite a few ADRs to renew in January, and a bunch of new ones too.
