Malcom Owen? Nice choice there mate, he was another one of the nicest blokes fronting a Punk Band you could meet, it’s a shame he died ( ‘H’ ) I met him several times over the few years that the Ruts were about ( Still got a photo somewhere of me, Malcom Owen, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies and a couple of others at The West Runton Pavillion back in 1979 ) As for the Madness bash in the forrest, my Brother in law went, said it was bloody brilliant, he only got back from visiting me at 3.00pm that day too!
CCC oh yeah!, remember working for them back in the late 80’s it was in their F 16 Gobstopper that I got the only speeding ticket I ever had in a Lorry ( 72 mph on the old A604…I overtook two other lorries, but did’nt see the two cops inbetween them, I went by 'em without realising it till they pulled out behind me   ) The blokes who drove for him were alright, but John the owner was a right pratt!
