BUT, can anyone tell me why I can see these pictures without logging in, and some other posts as well, but on others I have to log in?
These pictures are hosted on Photobucket and pictures on sites such as that can be seen without logging in. Pictures that appear in posts by way of the upload attachment option, so they are hosted by TruckNet, can only be seen when logged in
Nice diary Matt although for the life of me I can’t see the attraction in that line of work! I mean empty roads. beer, pizza, fit looking women…nah, sorry, just don’t get it!

Glad I’m not the only one who’s cleanliness of mugs leaves a lot to be desired!Clean mugs just ruin the flavour. The one I take to work each night, a TruckNet UK mug, hasn’t been washed for about 5 months. No milk or sugar ever goes in the mug so it’s all good.
My thoughts exactly, it just doesn’t taste as good in a clean cup. I clean mine once a month or so when they get crusty!
i used to work in a steel rolling mill for five years and the cups NEVER got washed! the same could be said about some of the blokes…

Great post and photos a good read,Victors at Burgos,used to do potatoe soup,with meat,great in the winter with real bread.Opposite there,over the goat and sheep crossing bridge,there is a small medieval village,most drivers would only drink and sleep,on time off.
Not sure why the route from Villar Formoso to Lisbon was an option as there is a new free road ,the old IP5 was slow and dangerous,now shut and over grown with vegeatation.
