Hello Dave, don’t start giving Harry ideas now he might come up with the idea that seeing all those old Geordie boys (plus Ang) had such a great Christmas get together then they might think about having a Summer reunion in Whitley Bay. I am sure that there is a company up that way that hires out an old double decker and they can pass the hat round for the driver. Mind you if the driver happens to crunch or miss a gear then a whip round with Harry’s knotted rope would be quite in order.

Roland I hate the things I packed a decent job up because they took a ■■■■■■■
engined Atki off me (which I hasten to add would blow 80s off all day long) at 32
tons gross on the level and going up a mountain as well, the guy who said the 80
was a 32 tonner should have been proecuted under the trades description act, it
wouldn’t pull your granny off the ■■■■■■■■

hiya,
Benkku a day cab will do for me, I’m not a fan of overnighting in my workplace,
although the bed space is ideal for storing spare ropes and securing chains also
handy for having a midday kip if held up at “Tosco’s”, the 110 did look better as
a sleeper cab so that is much nicer to look at and if I was still employed in the
driving industry I would have to sleep in the cab because all the places where the
drivers could stay for the night have long closed down.

the110 as the top motor of the time, and as for you Norm did you
ever find a clean motor ran any better than a dirty one the answer
is a big fat “NO”.
