Dave, Harry is a pedigree, he is what discribed as a " Blackburn Mongolian Lurcher" only two in exsistence, they are very difficult to breed,
alas when they have gone, it will be the same as the Do Do bird, gone forever,
but in Harry’s case, certainly not forgotten!
Very true Norm.I don’t think the Dodo could think as fast as Harry.Don’t know if they had any in Durham before they became extinct.
Cheers Dave.

I think the type of bird that Harry would study could bare a strong resemblance to you, rather than the Dodo Ang.
Cheers Dave.

Hmmm a white breasted Angelatic bird, it would be interesting to study a bird of that species!

I think you had better get an air raid shelter Norm.If Ang comes gunning for you,it might come in handy to hide.
Cheers Dave.
hiya,
Just a few things on the “Dodo” they are far from extinct I’ve come
across several in my lifetime, I’ve been described as one myself and
funnily I didn’t bat an eyelid, I’d obviously cocked-up so I was truly
deserving of the title, I wouldn’t have taken it quite so kindly if it
had been aimed at me vindictively and for no reason.
thanks harry, long retired.
Dodos are not as extinct as people think they are Harry .
In fact I drove past one of those ■■■ shops only last week and they had a sign outside which I think said Massive Dodo Sale.

hiya,
Like I said I’ve been called a Dodo, and come to think of it I’ve been
called the other as well but the terminology was a bit different.

No Harry you are no dodo, you are more of the “Bonzo” type, we will see what Dave can dig on that dog!

I didn’t mind the " Bonzo Dog Doodah Band " Quite an original name for a group in the 60’s I thought.
Cheers Dave.

Yes but before that it was a cartoon charactor, I think it was in one of the papers and even in a comic, I thought you might even bring up a picture Dave.

hiya,
Now I can see why Norm likened me to Bonzo even I can see the resemblence,
you’ve got my head sore trying to rememember where “Bonzo” was featured.
thanks harry, long retired.

In 1912 George Studdy signed a contract with The Sketch to produce a weekly full-page drawing. When war broke out, he was commissioned by Gaumont to produce a series of short films called “Studdy’s War Studies.” Studdy later introduced Bonzo into his sketches. Bonzo originally appeared in several of Studdy’s sketches in 1922 in magazines like The Sketch, Pearson’s Magazine, The American Weekly, Bemrose Prints, Bystander, Fantasio, Holly Leaves, Tatler, and ■■■-Bits.
How many of those did you read Harry ? I can remeber ■■■=Bits, but not many others.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Thanks for that Dave, yes remember ■■■ Bit’s that was always in the house
my Mam used to to look at something in there I think Tatler was featured
in most doctors waiting rooms usually months old, not as if I had the need
to visit the medicine man very often in those days, different kettle of fish
nowaday’s I practically live there, but my health was quite good until I hit
my mid sixties, then bits started to fall off.
thanks harry, long retired.
