She found out yesterday while she was totting up various till slips how much I paid for the Caol Ila, :open_mouth: hell, I feared for my safety, she’s only a slight little thing but she’s certainly got a mouth on her when she kicks off. I thought some of the names she called me were a bit harsh and unnecessary.

hiya,
Trev, when working for Glendenning’s back in the mid 70s Dudley was my hometown
for on average two stopovers a week used to stop in good digs there and parking was
free and on spare land close to our digs we did our drinking in the Labour Club and
the Grange both handy for the digs and the club sold Federation Ale which at that
time was brewed in Gateshead, so there you go, nowt wrong with Dudley.
thanks harry, long retired.

When I took Carlsberg up to them I took it to Dunston could see the metro from there.

It’s a small world really, at BRS Wolves we had a couple of rigids on contract to Federation ales delivering locally and a trunker that ran to Team valley !

Ang, please do not encourage these veteran lorry drivers to burn themselves out on expensive whisky. Just remember, the poor old lads didn’t earn the big money that you younger drivers earn. :unamused:
Cheers Dave.

If I even suggested anything like those she’d have me put in a home for the confused and bewildered, then she’d sell MY jaguar and she’d stock up on Tanquery Gin.

if you were really put to the test brian in extreme hardship which would have to go , the jaguar or the wife . make sure she isn’t looking over your shoulder before you answer .
