As a p.s. the prime minister is live on tv as I type.

He has stated that there will be NO INCREASE in fuel taxes in his next budget. There will be O increases in January !!!
The war isn’t over, it at least there is some advancement

Which translates as EDF nuclear power hope to gain from taxing fossil fuels off the market in Europe. While as usual the French want to be exempt from their own rules which they expect everyone else to bow down to.

Shut up Carryfast, that article was from March 2018 ffs !! :unamused: :unamused:
We are now in December !!
And I’ve read that article, can’t see anything about the French wanting to be:

exempt from their own rules which they expect everyone else to bow down to

as you put it

So what changed between March and December.Didn’t see any protests there against Macron’s clear statements at that time.Probably because the French Nuclear power industry gains from it and just so long as it only hits everyone else around Europe.Until they started getting hit by their own bs.As I said typical French hypocrisy making up silly rules for everyone else that they themselves don’t wish to obey.

Didn’t see any ‘yellow vests’ protesting against French cash being spent on this and in support of Trump at the time either.

Good man !

In many ways the protesters compare with The Resistance, now fighting an out of touch regime complete with resplendent if naked short arse emporer, once again supported by the third (or is it fourth now) reich.

At long last the proletariat have had enough of having the ■■■■ taken out of them, the elites led by their naked emporer piled the last straw on the camel’s back and it has revolted.

Good, the Brexit betrayal might just see an Oliver Cromwell rise from the ashes of our once fine country,

I give you Cromwell’s speech from 1653

''It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.

Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess? Ye have no more religion than my horse; gold is your God; which of you have not barter’d your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Commonwealth?

Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defil’d this sacred place, and turn’d the Lord’s temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices? Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation; you were deputed here by the people to get grievances redress’d, are yourselves gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors.

In the name of God, go!‘’

There’s an interesting article by John Hamer on Cromwell and his part in allowing the coin clipper community back into blighty,by a series of deft political shenanigans,ie allowing King Charles an opportunity to escape his then incarceration in CarisbrookCastle, only to be recaptured, providing the pretext for his subsequent execution.
Type in John Hamer,Oliver Cromwell, scroll down and the articles on the Chris Spivey website where Hamer often contributes and answers questions.Bit of a rum bugger old Spivey tbh, seems to be running a type of quasi_ cult leader type of deal, but it’s a fascinating site nevertheless.

If you are big enough to quote the man who was the head of the largest infight that this country has ever seen, are you big enough to take up arms against your children?

Define infight as opposed to stupidly and blindly following one dictatorial megalomaniac opposed to another.

While if ‘my children’ were on the side of a corrupt dictatorship and foreign invasion which was taking up arms against me to subjugate me what choice would I have.Ironically I’m referring to the Irish Nationalist side in the fight against Cromwell in that.On that note I’d obviously prefer to hope that ‘my children’ were on my side in the fight for the right to self determination. Not on the side of Federalist expansionist corruption and aggression.

FFS, They better stop it by next weekend , I am doing the tunnel and down to Spain via the Atlantic coast in the motorhome …coming back in mid January .

If they don’t it will be Belgium Germany and south down to Italy then on to Monaco ,then across the bottom of France with a reserve diesel tank in the garage under the bed !

Don’t forget Luxembourg, still cheaper there, about €1.15 ?

The EU - it don’t work.

Where are the 48% pushing for something similar in terms of “action” in this country then?

What are the underlying reasons that the 48% still maintain a support for the EU, the UK staying in the EU, and some kind of aversion to Law & Order?

… How many Remainers are going to try and disrupt the London March on Sunday - or are they just going to leave it to Anitifa to cause trouble, as if Brexit were some kind of “Wish List” of the Right, rather than wish list of the British PAYE taxpayer?

Pierrot.I returned to the UK via Dieppe on Nov.8th so it seems fuel prices have dropped a little since then.Leclerc and Intermarche in Dieppe were both €1.47/8.Price in Poitiers and near Dreux were similar.
I understand there is due to be a big price increase in Spain on Jan.1st.29% or 29c perhaps.Have to wait and see on that one.

Gidders, the supermarkets dropped their prices around mid-November. They have been selling all fuels at cost price.

The supermarket opposite the BP on the way into Dieppe port is now selling at 1 euro39, I know this as I was sat outside it for 3 hours on Wednesday due to a manifestation, as the French call a roadblock

Ironically it would have far more impact if it was called off on the grounds that we just know that EU backed establishment thugs will disrupt it all with false flag violence and therefore the safety of our side’s protestors.Personally for me,even if I was able to go,staying at home around 15 miles away is more than close enough to the place.
