I did anyway, but instead of seeing it through dads eyes I’ll be seeing it through my own. But I’m sure my managers will be happy hearing about this (or not if they figure they’ll soon me losing a member of the traffic team!)

As for a diary I don’t think I’ll be doing one during the training as I’ll want all my concentraion on the training but I will do a follow up pass or fail with my experiences. Obviously I’m going for the first time pass! But well we can only wait and see

Possibly, I won’t know until it actually comes though. I’ve spoke with john today gone through a few things, and the medical forms getting sent across today and will sort out the medical on one of my days off from work. As I’ve tried to get the medical sorted myself previous but work has always managed to crop up so this time when the date is set that will be that.
I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity, as silly as it may sound I know it will change my life for the better. And well it’s putting the first stamp on ones dream to become a reality. And well I will achieve what I set out to do in gaining my hgv license before I turned 21

Well done jonny. You’ll love it and John is a great trainer too (even though I am still yet to pass, but there’s a lot going on in my life so I found it very hard to concentrate on the test) so you should pass no problem. Plus the manor house b&b does nice breakfast.
Most of all good luck and enjoy it as I certainly did.

Thank you all for the well wishes and support, have just finished my last shift before Christmas and had quite an experience filled one, needless to say i cant wait to get started!!
I’'ll post any updates on here so folk can see how I’m getting on and well i hope after new year the pace will pick up !
