WX06 BEY is one of three Scania P420 Autologic drags to be rebranded with the Stobart Automotive branding.

This is because Stobart’s have decided to keep these trucks on for a few more years before replacing them.

Currently, they are looking at buying more artic car transporters than drags and there are another 4 artic car transporters to be delivered in September

WX06 BEY is a Kirk Sand’s based Scania P420 drag

PN11 WPD is a Lutterworth based Scania R420

Yes, I can confirm that Stobart’s have placed an order for 7 new Volvo FH’s and they are due to be delivered in July/August 2013

All trucks will be supplied by Volvo Truck & Bus North at Carlisle

Therefore, I suspect that this truck is destined for Stobart’s

Ive noticed a few of the recent fh mk3s have Milton Keynes numbers KV13 and noitbthe usual Carlisle PX numbers. Have Carlisle run out of numbers or have these been ordered from elsewhere?

Yes, that’s right.

Its because the Volvo dealer in Milton Keynes is the main distributor for Volvo in the UK and hauliers who have ordered the old FH model are getting them supplied with a KX/KV reg.

Thompson’s of Prudhoe, Stobart’s and many other hauliers who have bought the old model have got them with a KX/KV reg

But, Carlisle Commercial’s (the former name for the dealers at Carlisle as I’m sure you’ll know) is still supplying Stobart’s with the trucks but on delivery, they have already been registered with the Milton Keynes reg

But, as the new FH model starts to be delivered into the fleet, they will be given the PX/PY reg (more likely the PX than the PY)

PO13 KZD is a Rugby Truckstop based Scania R440 which in your photo’s looks like it is pulling a skelly trailer?

PO13 KZD entered service on the 7th of June 2013 therefore it will be a month old this Sunday

It is a dedicated Nissan car transporter and has the Nissan logo on the side of the side skirts

It will expected to eventually moved to Washington where it will be based
