The Eddie Stobart Spotters Thread

Wheel Nut:
That look like the junction that moomoo mentioned :stuck_out_tongue:

Thats the one ok :exclamation:
The driver had already passed two major turnings to Greenfield off the A62 (the A670 and the A6052) why pick the third one, a reverse fork, down an inaccessible country lane the mind boggles you just would not attempt it.

Wheel Nut:
Watching last nights exciting episode of ■■■■ in Trucks I was so hoping they would arrest that fat lad at Southend Airport taking photos of a restricted area :stuck_out_tongue:

Ooh look! they are all lined up! :open_mouth:

Hello everyone
Thankyou to moomooland and Wheel Nut for there posts.
Wheel Nut, Will You Pleae take that comment back about Craig (or as you call him, the Fat Lad). He is accually a very good friend of mine and that comment is way out of order.
As for that trailer, Tescos supply the trailer and often traffic plan the routes, so its definately Tescos fault the way I look at it
Kindest regards

as i look at it THE DRIVER s at fault cg.not tesco,s.just goes to show that stobart arnt the best, probally a EX SQUADDIE who thought he was driving a tank.and as previous posts said he passed two junction,s,thats why they are issued with idiot maps.

Wheel Nut:
How can anyone blame the customer for sending the wrong trailer, it was Stobart who sent the wrong driver, at least he can check his tyre tread properly why he is waiting.

The drivers have a dummies sheet with every drop having undergone a risk assessment. I bet that risk was never considered. :stuck_out_tongue:

The photo looks like something Truck & Driver would publish for their ‘Well Boss’ feature

Along those lines, can anyone think up a good answer that the Stobart driver might have used when talking to his boss about the crash?

“Well boss, it’s only a minor problem, but the trailer needs longer landing legs.”

" Hello boss , its ■■■■■■■■ Gill here . Ive just made the headlines on TruckNet . Theres a couple of photographs on there you might , or might NOT, wish to see about the artic I was driving . Ive found out that it`s a bit bigger than my Fiat Punto when turning left at that junction " .

Memo to ■■■■■■■■ Gill.
I wouldn`t have made any " Well boss…" comment ,…but…you asked for them.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

No HGV driver in his right mind would attempt this left turn heading west off the A62 at the top of Wall Hill Dobcross Saddleworth!

This was the scene today after it obviously was unable to negotiate the sharp fork turn. Recovery teams arrived at the scene and with the help of a digger and a large tow truck it was eventually freed.
Some damage was caused to a speed sign, dry stone wall, and a bollard, as well as some minor damage to the trailer.

Oh dear me, Thankyou for that photo moomooland!
To be honest with you, thats Tescos falt for sending Stobarts with a trailer, to big for that road in the area!
Kindest regards

No no, it’s the drivers responsibility. Every time. “Hello boss, there’s a police officer here who’d like a word with you, oh, and I’m going to be late for my next drop”.

Hello little ha ba
I just had a look through my photos and I haven’t a photo of Francis Ann.
Are you sure you’v got the right name as I can’t find any results past of present for a Francis Ann in the Stobart fleet on the Online Fleet List?
Kindest regards
