I am at a loss as to how you are having a problem with my previous post. I would have thought that any person such as myself

Thanks for the apology CG and thankyou Stansfield for pointing the mistake out to CG. As I sit here at my computer and look across my living room at Models of Eddie Scani’s & Volvos, plus Atkinson & A E C models along with Stobart Rail’s Lowloader I ask myself, am I, at 65years of age crazy, or, is it because I learn’t to drive on Double Deck Buses for the old Ribble Motor Services here, at the now long closed Southport Depot, once the Terminus of the Cheshire Lines Railway, in Southport, therefore having a penchant for large vehicles, leading to yearly trips to the Commercial Motor Show at Earls Court during the Sixties & Seventies.
I may not visit Eddie’s Depot’s, or make a point of spotting and noteing down names & numbers etc. but I have been a member of the spotters club for some three years or so, and do make a mental note of truck names on the odd occasion that I see one at Tesco in Albert Road here in Southport. I also have copies of all three series of Trucks & Trailors all bought Legally I must add.
One last thing,do I now qualify as a Eddie Stobart saddo as some people would have us believe.

Yes, the Volvo FM’s are run on the Nestle contract (aswell as the CocaCola contract) and Yes, they are run on LPG. There is now 20 of them in the fleet, which are based at Crick and Widnes

Your DEFINATELY not a ‘Saddo’. Whats wrong with a harmless bit of spotting and collecting the models ?
Just so you don’t think your a saddo, I’ve spotted 300 Stobart lorries (oftern go spotting and visiting depots) and own a model collection of 150 Stobarts and around another 60 models other companies. This sertainly makes me a saddo, but not you marra (oh, and I haven’t mentioned the collection of 300 + Stobart Truck Photos).
Don’t every think there something wrong with Eddie Spotting. Its a good, harmless passtime which is great fun (theres worse things to so that Eddie Spotting like train spotting)

As always thanks again for that, spotting Eddies now and again does take me way, way back to my youth in Plymouth as a Trainspotter, an hobby which years ago took me all over this country. I learnt a lot about the Steam Locomotives and what makes them work, as I would hope, that youngsters who now spot Eddies will choose to go on to want to learn what makes the Trucks work, and, hopefully go on to want to join Stobbies as an Apprentice or eventually as a Driver. I do wish at times I chose Trucking over Bus Driving.
Thats life I suppose, very happy to have cleared any misunderstanding over my first post.
Please carry on what you are doing and, I look forward to reading further posts on this forum.
