If you don’t want me to start using the delete button now would be a good time to stop acting like children !
To the spotters: TruckNet is a drivers forum and you will find that there are drivers who like Stobarts and drivers that don’t like Stobarts . I believe this is because of Stobarts aggressive rate cutting several years ago which led to other haulage companies closing with the loss of many drivers jobs , although Stobarts are not the only company to have done this !
To the drivers : Stobart spotting is a fairly harmless hobby, how about letting them get on with it in a quiet corner
Ps: I’ve edited the title to Thread because it’s not a page or a forum
Denis F:
Ok there’s now 4 reports about this thread

But you,ve got to admit Denis they do bring it on themselves and it is a laugh winding em up
Now now dd, i’ve been good and stayed away for a couple of days, I check in this evening, see your name as the last poster and what do I find? What sort of example are you setting? You can obviously see that i’ve descended to a ridiculously low level of humour recently and I need to be put back on the straight and narrow, then I find that you of all people seem to have decided that if you can’t beat 'em, join 'em!
Anyway, I have been suitably reprimanded in this and the other thread, i’m afraid that against my better judgment I have decided to heed the advice of some of my elders and betters and leave the fruitcakes be in the hope that they will eventually get bored and disappear
■■■■■■■■■■ Sausage, watch out for me, i’ve just joined 2 Stobarts Spotting websites, i’ll be posting my infantile rubbish in YOUR backyard now, instead of on a proper drivers forum. I’m sure i’ll be about as welcome as a ■■■■ in an astronaut suit but it could be fun!

Sorry, just before I go, can I ask a question? I’ve just been looking through the forum rules and I can’t find anything to suggest that posts may be deleted for acts of childishness.
Yes, agreed but the point is, that these people have their own outlets for their preferred hobby. As I said in the thread I posted in the feedback forum Denis and as you have stated above, this IS a drivers forum and while I am neither for or against ESL and their drivers, I am finding them to be more than a little irritating with some of their rose tinted spectacled views of Stobbies.
Anyway, i’ve had my say, I understand your position, so i’ll make this my last post on this thread for the sake of good order

Hi MrHappy,
That’s a fair question, so I do believe it needs a fair answer.
I checked the post title and found “The Eddie Stobart Spotters Thread.”
I spotted a pic of an Eddie Stobart truck, which was already posted on an earlier page and posted a larger version.
I didn’t alter the pic in any way.
I said nothing (good or bad) about Eddie Stobart, or any other person.
I’d like to think it’s an example of a post that’s properly on-topic and in the correct forum.
Diesel Dave said “spotted a pic of an Eddie Stobart truck, which was already posted on an earlier page and posted a larger version”.–" I’d like to think it’s an example of a post that’s properly on-topic and in the correct forum. Image "
You may well play the innocent Dave. You didn,t need to say anything. The message came over Loud and Clear.
Anyway, I,m off to me local butchers now, to get meself a pound of ■■■■■■■■■■ Sausage. Very tasty.
Then when I get back, coz it is persisting down outside, so that,s the gardening cancelled for the day, I will check to see if Eddie Stobart Fan has started posting any of those promised 10,000 pictures that are on their way.
I promise to behave, it’s a bit sad really, I thought Thomas, myself, and the other lads were becoming friends. So much so that I’m shocked if it was Thomas who complained. Ah well, onward and upward.

P.S. I’d love to have read the accident report about the Homebase trailer under the bridge. I DO hope none of the spotters were on the bridge. Oops , concentrate
Hello everyone,
Thanks for your interesting replies.
Mr Happy, I’m glad to see you taking an interest in Stobart, but can warn you that what ever ‘Stobart Websites’ you’ve joined, I know from being a member of many, Will, Yes Will, NOT like ANYTHING that puts Stobart down. So I would be very careful about what you say.

Nicely put dd, you clearly missed your calling as a political party spin doctor
Anyway, I take all your points on board and can find no suitable reason to disbelieve your reasons for posting the picture, however, I feel that you use of the phrase Woo Hoo was slightly over exuberant and to that end, I find you as guilty as me (and you know it )
Was this accident staged for the T.V. programme , or was it staged because Stobart Rail have a very high -earning profile contract doing railway maintenance work ?
Coincidental or what ■■
heres one for you shame the driver was a let down looked a right state oily shirt dirty trousers that looked ten years old and how the hell he could see out his windscreen with all his gadgets
Hello everyone,
Thanks again for your interesting photos.
Cbarnes, ok, this Stobart driver wasn’t the cleanest, but be fair, how many truckers are clean, eh■■?

Hello grumpy old man,
Yes, just because you’ve got to behave, but that dosen’t mean we can’t Still be friends. I’m was quite enjoying making friends with you and Mr Happy (even though I don’t agree with anything he says!!!).
