Looked at this thread for the first time. As an ex Stobarts tramper, Crick, at the turn of the century when a collar & tie was de-rigor (when Edward was still at the helm). The money wasn’t great but with a good planner you could earn & I had several good ones, . It is of course now a different regime & I am amazed at the number of “incidents” that now seem to occur. Have driving standards declined so much or is just a combination of satnavs, lack of experience & common sense.
Anyway the reason for this message, my first regular motor was an ERF EC10 350, one of 5 in tango livery, a great truck even with a high mileage. limited to 58mph & would outpull a 380 F12 on Shap. Sad to see it go, I did take pics of it but seem to have mis-placed them. Has anyone got any, please.
