Well said “Truckfing”,there is a true saying “that those who live by the sword usually die by it” !! Tesco are just using “fast eddie” to take the flak for them and there is no way that Tesco are going to run their own motors at a higher cost than they can “beat” out of “fast eddie” so Unite may as well try ■■■■■■■ into the wind!! I don’t believe they would have the remotest chance of success trying to get “the Elves” to strike in order to safeguard the jobs of Tesco drivers who,lets face it,have far better T&C’s than anything “fast eddie” can offer.Mind you,I would find it absolutely hilarious if Unite did bring “fast eddies” operation to a standstill,the country wouldn’t suffer as the “fast one” is not yet a Strategic operation plus it would give Tesco a soild kick in the nuts !!! Thankyou for that excelent photo. For everyones infomation, ‘Fast Eddie’ (Eddie Stobart) didn’t put Chris Reay out of business, it was Tesco. He was working as a subbie for Tesco and was forced to fiddle his tacos to make ends meat on the Tesco work. Chris Reay, who ran the business under the name, Reays Haulage, got his licence revoaked in 2008.
The business operated 6 lorries & 10 trailers, most of which where ex Markley Transport Scanias.
The bulk tipper in the picture is a D.A.Harrison trailer, who Reays did some work for on behalf of Carrs Flour Mills

You should have thought about that before you kept bullying him.You wouldn’t like it if he was your Grandson and was taking stick like you have been giving him.He would be more likely to tip the pint over your head than drink with you.
